Veterans put their lives on the line every day for their country. But what happens when veterans aren’t able to get basic medical care simply because of where they live? There are veterans who have to drive as far as two hours to reach their appointments. Others miss them simply because the distance is too far. Of the 20 million veterans living in the United States, 5 million live in rural areas. So, what can be done to help them?
